Hilton delivered a new catenary maintenance vehicle to the tram of Linz in Austria. This compact vehicle has been custom build on a MAN TGS 4x2 chassis 2300mm wide with a 4x4 hydraulic rail drive system for a gauge of only 900mm. The scissor lift has a max. platform load of 500kg for a working height up to 8400mm and 360° basket slewing range. The platform is designed for work under live current on tram networks up to 1000V AC / 1500V DC according DIN VDE 0682-742. The cabin offers space to 4 persons and is connected with the workshop unit. Every detail of this vehicle has been designed to the specific requirements of our customer in Linz and we wish them all the best with their new vehicle.
