Hilton delivered a new catenary maintenance vehicle to SWB Bonn in Germany. The vehicle is built on a MAN TGS 6x4 chassis with 2 hydraulic driven bogies. The superstructure consists of a 11m working platform and a wire positioner which are both isolated for work under live current on tram networks up to 1000V AC / 1500V DC according DIN VDE 0682-742. The wire positioner is a custom-made design for SWB and the first wire positioner on the market for operation under live current. Besides the vehicle is equipped with the advanced Hilton Intouch remote diagnostic system for 24h 7/7 remote service. We wish all the best to our customer SWB with their new vehicle.
