We are pleased to be able to hand over the new rail cleaning vehicle to the Gera transport and operating company. 

This special vehicle is equipped with a hydraulically driven lorry chassis with single wheel drive, which is perfectly suited for use in rail cleaning vehicles due to its excellent driving characteristics and its fine speed control, ensuring maximum safety for the operators. 

A generous fresh water tank of 2500 l and a dirt tank of 6 m³ provide sufficient volume for long-lasting cleaning. With a fan with 19,000m³/h and contactless cleaning of the grooves with up to 800 bar, as well as contactless rail head cleaning and a rear boom for manual cleaning, this vehicle is state of the art and now replaces GVB's previous rail cleaner.
