Hilton delivered another new road-rail vehicle to Bybanen in Bergen (Norway). The vehicle is a multifunctional design for all kind of winter track maintenance. The front mounting plate can be connected to a hydraulic controlled snow brush or snow plough. Besides the vehicle is equipped with a de-icing system which is used to avoid the formation of ice on the overhead lines. The glycerin is pumped to the felt roll via pressured air from the glycerin tanks on the vehicle. For the transport of heavy tools and equipment, the vehicle has a rear mounted HIAB crane with a lifting force of 1,5t at 10m outreach and a loading platform. The vehicle has been built on a Mercedes Benz Arocs 1833 4x2 Euro 6 chassis with a hydrostatic lorry rail drive system. Please do not hesitate to contact our sales department for further information.
